Re: I'm actually starting to feel sorry for Villa
Garde is a decent guy.

he is really fucked off with villa as they promised him things when he signed and haven't followed through.

Cannot begin to tell you how fucked off he was at the end of the January transfer window when hey signed no one.

rotten from the top down and the owner doesn't give a fuck.

I have a close friend that's a villa fan. sort of feel sorry for the club but sort of don't. i don't mind a big team going down every year. freshens things up.

Funnily enough I wrote my car off one morning before I was due to drive to Villa.

Made the missus at the time drive her car from Rayleigh to Hornchurch for me to use instead, though I was kind enough to drop her at Romford station on my way to Villa ;o)

Feel sorry for Garde.

Seems like a decent bloke that's walked into a terrible situation and been fucked over by players not trying their hardest and broken promises from club administrators.

I've got ONE Villa MATE... Matty the Post... last saw him he was wearing skin tight jogging bottoms... I think it's all too much for him

Every time I look at the league table it makes me smile seeing Villa, Newcastle and the Walrus in the bottom 3.

I don't have one ounce of sympathy for any of them

Re: I'm actually starting to feel sorry for Villa
Had some good players that define the best Premier League era (early - mid nineties) for me.
Milosevic, Draper, Yorke, Bosnich etc.

But, like others, I also grew bored of their self entitled attitude over the years. Empty seats have been a regular scene over the last 15 seasons.

Good boozer for the away fans though.

Fuck em, it's about time we rightly took the crown of being the only claret and blue team in the top flight.

I love clubs like this getting relegated.

I think three teams get relegated most seasons

I live in the midlands and am thoroughly enjoying it, there are $ villa fans in my office and another 5 or so in the rest of the building so I'm having great fun at their expense

Re: I'm actually starting to feel sorry for Villa
Funny. Not that long ago martin oneil walked out because Lerner went back on a promise to give him some money to spend. I think they were 5th at the time. They have wasted money on a regular basis and would struggle to get rid of some of their big earners. Could do a wolves

Re: I'm actually starting to feel sorry for Villa
I have quite a few Villa mates from my time in the Midlands.

Been a long time since I've really been able to take much pleasure in their demise, in fact, not since the 4-0 where Harewood got a hat-trick I don't think.

Poor Villa fans. Nahhhhhhh.

It's only relegation! Few people cried for us. And look at us now!

Long over due. More Prem teams within an hour of London please. Sunderland/Villa/Newcastle out.

Re: I'm actually starting to feel sorry for Villa
It's a bit awkward to such a big club going into melt down.
It shows what can happen with the wrong owner.
Not may years ago they were a top 6 club.

Let's think of Villa and praise S&G and Slaven

Darby_ 7:38 Tue Feb 23
Re: I'm actually starting to feel sorry for Villa
I'm looking forward to them dropping. Not sure why. Maybe because they're boring, but probably because they're a club our size that never seems to go down?
